Frenchman Lake

Welcome to the Frenchman Lake Camping page of Plumas County,  Northern California. Frenchman Lake sits at an elevation of 5,588 feet and has approximately 21 miles of shoreline. Lying on the edge of the Sierra Valley, the area is dotted with sage along with plentiful pine trees within the Plumas National Forest. Frenchman is known as a great trout fishery and a popular camping area.

There are some reservations possible at these campgrounds. Some are first come, first served only. They range in price from $21 and up per night and there is a $2 fee for pets.
